An Oregon man has been charged with a sex offense after police say he sent a lewd video to a two girls, ages 13 and 16, through electronic communication. 

Sky C. Meyers, 33, of Oregon, was arrested by Oregon police on Aug. 30 on a warrant for the offense of grooming, a Class 4 felony, after officers executed a search warrant at 4:50 p.m. at his residence in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

According to a press release from the Oregon Police Department, police began investigating the complaint against Meyers on Aug. 18.

After a thorough investigation, the case was presented to the Ogle County State’s Attorney for review. 

Additional charges have also been presented to the state’s attorney. 

Meyers was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of $10,000 bond (10%). He was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 3.
